FRISCO, Texas 鈥 Never one to shy away from a reunion, the 草莓视频下载入口 are using the 2025 free agency spree to bring back one of their most recent impactful pass rushers in defensive end Dante Fowler, who has agreed to terms to re-sign in North Texas on a one-year deal worth upwards of $8 million.

Fowler is no stranger to producing in the NFL, or for the Cowboys, seeing as he delivered 10 sacks for the latter in his last two seasons with the club. He'd opt to depart with Dan Quinn in the free agency that followed his 2023 season, and truly showed what he could do when unleashed by the Washington Commanders.

In only seven starts through 17 regular season games, Fowler racked up 10.5 sacks for the Commanders, the second-most of his career 鈥 bested only by the 11.5 sacks he produced for the Los Angeles Rams in 2019.

"The disrespect 鈥 I can't take it anymore," Fowler recently posted on X (formerly known as Twitter) as he waded through the open market.

A former third-overall pick of the Jaguars in 2015, the 30-year-old still has plenty of tread remaining on his tires, as noted above, and he rejoins a Cowboys' defense that is welcoming back Sam Williams from a torn ACL and having recently waved goodbye to longtime defensive end DeMarcus Lawrence.

There will be plenty of opportunities in the new-look defense run by Matt Eberflus for Fowler to equal or potentially better what he was able to do in the nation's capital, and the apparent chip on his shoulder should serve everyone involved very well this coming season.
