FRISCO, Texas — Well, that was certainly unpleasant. Of course, that is referring to the 44-19 meltdown by the ²ÝÝ®ÊÓƵÏÂÔØÈë¿Ú against the New Orleans Saints in the home opener at AT&T Stadium on Sept. 15 but, unlike the January loss to the Green Bay Packers, there's no time at all to sulk in the outcome as the Baltimore Ravens get ready to fly into town.
And they're in desperation mode, no less.
For while the Cowboys are sitting at 1-1, trying to avoid a 1-2 record to start the season, Lamar Jackson and the Ravens are facing an 0-3 hole through three games, and that would be devastating for their playoff odds; and that means they're going to leave it all on the field for John Harbaugh — in all three phases of the game.
WHEN AND WHERE:
Date: Sunday, Sept. 22
Time: 3:25 CT
Location: AT&T Stadium (Arlington, TX)
It's a team the Cowboys need to use to make a statement, much like they did the Ravens' division rival, the Browns, in the regular season opener. Bottling up Jackson will be no easy task and Derrick Henry might still feel a way about the Cowboys not calling him in free agency. Dak Prescott and his offense, however, have much to prove and Mike Zimmer's defense even more so, after being throttled a week prior.
It's the reigning league MVP versus the runner-up, and both are starving for a bounce back game.
And it's coming right into your living room this weekend.
